Data Matrix Barcode Introduction

Data Matrix is a two-dimensional matrix barcode, which encodes text or raw data in a pattern of black and white square modules. The dominating application areas of Data Matrix are direct part marking and laser marking - both especially in the aerospace, electronic, and automotive industry. By adding error correction codes, it still can be read even if they are partially damaged.

Encodable Chars	values 0-127 in accordance with the US national version of ISO/IEC 646 value 128-255 in accordance with ISO 8859-1 (referred to as extended ASCII)
Format Mode (symbol sizes)	Data Matrix ECC200 symbol sizes (30 in all) can be divided into two categories: 24 square ones with sizes from 10x10 to 144x144 (even values only) not including quiet zones; 6 rectangular ones with sizes from 8x18 to 16x48 not including quiet zones;

To set the size of Data Matrix, two things are of importance, i.e. the X Dimension, Y Dimention, Barcode Height and the barcode width.
