Intelligent Mail Barcode Introduction

The Intelligent Mail barcode, also known as the USPS OneCode Solution or USPS 4-State Customer Barcode (abbreviated 4CB, 4-CB, or USPS4CB), is used in the USPS mainstream.
It is the result of the Postal Service's efforts to provide more robust codes capable of encoding more information, while minimizing the space used on the mailpiece.
