Code 39 Data Encoding in Excel
Conforming to its industry standards the following data set and characters can be encoded in Excel Code 39 Add-In:
Valid Characters to be Encoded:
  • Numeric characters: 0 - 9
  • Special characters: - (Dash), $ (Dollar), % (Percentage), (Space), . (Point), / (Slash), + (Plus)
  • Uppercase letters: A - Z
Code 39 Extension Valid Data:
  • Standard ASCII values 0-127
Code 39 Valid Data Length to be Encoded:

On the Excel Code 39 setting panel, the following parameters should be set to encode data:
  • Barcode Type --- Barcode types could be changed by setting this property, default value is Code 128. Code 39 and Code 39 Extension are valid here.
