Intelligent Mail Add-In for Excel - Intelligent Mail Information

Intelligent Mail, also called OneCode, is a height-modulated linear barcode type, which can only encode numeric digits (0 through 9). It effectively incorporates the routing ZIP code and tracking information included in previously used postal barcode standards and is widely used by the United States Postal Service for domestic mail delivery.

Intelligent Mail Valid Encoding Characters:

Numeric characters: 0 - 9

Intelligent Mail is a fixed length barcode with 20, 25, 29 or 31 numeric digits.

Generate a Single Intelligent Mail on Excel

Start the target Excel spreadsheet and activate Excel Barcode Add-In by clicking "Create Barcode" under "Add-Ins" tab;
Select a certain cell and choose "INTELLIGENT MAIL(ONECODE)" in the "barcode type" pull-down list;
Enter data that is required in the "data" box, like "98765432109876543210" (20, 25, 29 or 31 numeric digits are allowed to be encoded);
Adjust the parameters that are required like "Bar width", "Bar height", "Display check char", "Rotate", etc;
Click "Generate" to output the target Intelligent Mail on the chosen cell of Excel.

If there is some requirement to customize the generated Intelligent Mail, please select it and adjust the related properties in the setting panel. After that, click "Update". Alternatively, you can delete the barcode by clicking "Delete" button and generate a new one.

Create Intelligent Mail Lists on Excel

Open the Excel Barcode Add-In;
Select a list of cells, choose "INTELLIGENT MAIL(ONECODE)" in the "barcode type" pull-down list and input the data to be encoded;
Customize the parameters that you need like "Bar alignment", "Bar height", "Display check char", "Rotate", etc;
Click "Generate" and a list of Intelligent Mail barcodes appear on Excel as required.
